Learning by doing

[病倒在床上的小病豬]



昨日由早上開始，我就察覺到小豬B的情緒和表現有點怪異。
到了傍晚，他開始毆吐，腹瀉和發燒。

這是小豬B有生以來首次正式大病。

一下子，有很多事物要馬上學習。例如：
如何使用新式耳杯紅外線探熱針？
上吐下瀉的BB一般可以吃什麼？不可以吃什麼？
如果BB不能/不肯進食，該如何防止脫水？
如何安撫一隻因身體不適而不斷哭哭啼啼的小病豬？
生病期間的BB會特別黏身，如何在給予他足夠的安全感之餘，不會養壞習慣？

這一切問題，其實之前已看過書，也聽過講座，但要到小豬B真的生病，才體會到「如何照顧小病豬」很大程度上是個 learning by doing 的過程。
也許，這才是照顧小病豬最累人的原因。

I have a friend's baby who had a similar experience... she brought the baby to Children's Hospital, and the doctor just fed the baby Gatorade. Apparently, Gatorade helps the body retain fluids.

會是奶粉問題嗎？（聽說寶寶到了某階段要換奶粉了？）

還是氣候轉變？又還是真的發牙了？

心疼小豬B，希望早日康復，然後再玩豬大哥的PS2！
